Lawn Planting

Add New Life! Annual introduction of new seed for the propagation of new grass plants is a key component of a vibrant lawn. In nature, grasses are allowed to grow tall, flower, and produce seed heads that sew new life. In a typical lawn, the grass tops are continually mowed off, short circuiting that natural reinvigoration process.

Existing Lawns:

We have found that slice seeding or overseeding is the best way to bring your existing lawns back to health and vitality. Once we have determined the soil composition we will recommend the best turf cover options for that area.

New Lawns:

Once the soil is prepared, we use hydro-seeding or sod, or a combination of the two in order to lay the foundation for your new turfscape. Planting the new turf is only the beginning. We encourage our customers to employ an annual strategy to maintain health, vitality, and growth.

General:

All lawns require nitrogen and other supplemental minerals. We will visit your property 4-6 times per year to apply Fertilizers, Humate & Kelp Soil conditioners, live liquid biological amendments, and pH adjusting Calcitic Lime to optimize your turf grass. Special services include Aerating for overly compacted soils, and compost top-dressing for barren soils lacking in organic matter.

Lawn Removal

Yes, there are times when lawn and pasture removal are desired. Overgrown, tired, and infested greenscapes are all candidates.
